Johnna co-founded the foundation with her husband Mike following the loss of their son Ethan. As Executive Director, she leads program operations, scholarship administration, and community partnerships.

Kaci is the ASB Director at Madison Middle School, where she first knew Ethan as a student. She brings firsthand perspective on the formative role arts programs play in young performers' lives.

Bailey is a theatre community member who knew Ethan personally. She represents the perspective of young performers the foundation aims to support.

Colleen Kollar Smith
Director
Colleen is Executive Director of the Campus Performances and Events Office at UC San Diego and formerly served as Executive Producer of Moonlight Stage Productions. She brings deep ties to the Southern California theatre community and has worked with Ethan for many years in professional settings.

Nancy Rios
Director
Nancy joined the board in April 2026 as a founding director. She is Ethan's grandmother and brings deep family knowledge of Ethan's life. She is committed to honoring his memory through the foundation's work.
